Tral is a one of the pristine and beautiful areas of Jammu and Kashmir. It is famous because for its natural beauty and fertile human resource. It is considered to be the most educated constituency in the Kashmir valley
Last year, Tral got sub district status. The area has been ignored by the successive govts in Jammu and Kashmir that is the reason Tral is still lagging behind in every sphere of development.
The area is confront with many problems in health, tourism and education sectors. It has been been neglected completely, to put it simple.
Tral has the potential of becoming one of the best tourist destinations in J&K . The people want govt to develop Nagabern, a vast meadow, and twin lakes in the deep forests Tarsar & Marsar , in the area, as tourism destinations. By doing so, destiny of the whole area can be changed.
If we will talk of health sector ; Tral has only 3 PHCs. Aripal, which is presently tehsil and block, lacks modern health and education facilities. Same is the case with Lam area. Govt should focus on health sector and give basic health facilities to the common people
No country can progress without roads. In contemporary system, the main priority is connectivity. Without connectivity, development cannot take place. Govt has recently sanctioned many road projects for the areas including two double lane road projects: Tral-Awantipora via Nowdal and Tral Awantipora via Dadsara. It is indeed a great step on part of the present govt.
It was requested to the govt many a times to construct Syedabad-Khrew road and Tral-Phalgam but no steps have been taken sofar, in this regard. It will not only benefit the people of Tral, but will become an alternate route between Srinagar and Anantnag.
People of Tral are hopeful about the present govt headed by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to solve all their problems in during its tenure.
