Delhi youth will act as ambassadors of JK Tourism:
NEW DELHI, APRIL 18:- J&K Tourism Department last evening organized a Road Show at Select City Walk, Saket, New Delhi with a theme Kashmir Calling Spring Festival, 2015 for promotion of Tourism products of the State in the domestic market.
The objective of the Road Show was to showcase Jammu & Kashmir as a complete tourist destination for all kind of tourists round the year. J&K has got all tourism products to offer to tourists. We have Adventure Tourism, Leisure Tourism, Spiritual Tourism, Heritage Tourism, Golf Tourism, Skiing, Trekking, Water Sports, Bollywood destination, Border Tourism and allied products, Director Tourism Kashmir, Farooq Ahmad Shah said on the occasion.
Thousands of people from different walks of life, mostly youth of Delhi participated in the Road Show.
Besides Shah, Chairman, Mushtaq Group of Hotels, Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya, Nasir Ahmad Shah & other prominent personalities of Travel Bodies of Kashmir were present on the occasion.
The Road Show was followed by 2 hour long cultural show at Select City Walk Mall in which reputed artists performed different folk dances of the state. Large number of people witnessed the cultural show which was organised J&K Tourism. Lucky draw was also the part of the Road Show in which audience participated in the cultural show were asked questions regarding culture, tourism spots of J&K, films picturised in J&K. Those who gave right answers to maximum questions were awarded prizes and packages tours sponsored by JKTDC,J&K Tourism and Mushtaq Group of Hotels.
On the occasion, Director Tourism, Kashmir/MD, JKTDC appreciated the people of Delhi particularly youths for their whole hearted participation in J&K Tourisms Road Shows and hope that the youth of the Delhi will be the ambassadors of J&K Tourism in the country for promotion of tourism products of the state.
Today another Road Show is being organized at 6 pm in Dilli Haat, Opposite INA Market, New Delhi with same objective.
