Srinagar: Parents of students desirous of taking the Common Entrance Test (CET) for selection in various technical courses have sought a weeks extension for submitting the forms.
The last date, it may be mentioned, expired last week. A delegation of parents told newsmen that vital documents/certificates destroyed during the floods had to be procured in duplicate from various agencies which caused the delay.
If the forms of such applicants are not accepted and entertained, they will lose a year, they said.
They urged the concerned to condone the delay.
