SRINAGAR: A complete shutdown was observed in Tral town of Pulwama district on Wednesday against the killing of two local militants in a gun battle with the government forces a day earlier. Reports said that all the shops and business establishments remained closed in the main town.
The residents, in hundreds protested against the killing of Abid Khan and Shiraz Dar who were died in an encounter in Handoora village on Tuesday with army and SOG.
Various separatist leaders visited the bereaved families in Handoora and Woverigund Tral.
