United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi: The 5th Gulf Education Conference and Exhibition which was scheduled to held in Dubai from 17-18th March, will now be held at Abu Dhabi on 18-19th March, 2015.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Abu Dhabi, has kindly consented to patronise the event.
The two-day event is expected to draw a high attendance of educational dignitaries from a number of countries in the region, including pioneers, leaders and practitioners from all over the globe.
Like its previous events, the UAE Conference will showcase developments in education, highlighting the great innovations taking place in the world of academia. The event will continue to provide a strong platform where international partnerships can be formed and an exchange of best practices, expertise and insight can be realised.
Discussions at the conference will serve to guide the development of education in institutions and countries throughout the region. The focus of the Conference is the twin themes of vocational education including workforce development and 21st Century skills, employer engagement with educational institutions.
The Conference will go with an agenda to look forward in the support of all institutions to strategize and provide the best and most diverse curricula and facilities for todays student ensuring every possible type of education provision, both traditional and non-traditional, has a place within the programme.
Efforts at looking closely at the rigorous requirements for workforce development, focusing on high in-demand industry sectors are some of the key areas the Conference would be aiming at. It shall attempt to seek out the pre-eminent vocational training implementers and providers that will support the region’s strong drive in strengthening and perfecting their home-grown talent.
