Srinagar: On the directions of the working president National Conference Omar Abdullah, his political secretary Tanvir Sadiq Tuesday visited many areas of Beerwah to take stock of the situation.
In a statement a spokesman of the NC said Tanvir visited many areas of Beerwah Budgam and interacted with people and gave a patient hearing to their problems. People complained to Tanvir that there is an acute shortage of drinking water in the areas and with the winters, power cuts are witnessed frequently.
Tanvir assured the people that their problems will be taken up with the higher authorities for the immediate redressal. On the occasion, Tanvir informed the people that within a weeks time, the office of the MLA Beerwah will be opened in the area after which people can visit the office to register their grievances or complaints every day, so that the resolution of all their problems can be done on daily basis, he said.
