SRINAGAR: A youth in Ganderbal died after he fell from a tree, police said.
A police official said that 25 year old Bashir Ahmad Ganai, son of Abdul Ahaad Ganai, had gone to collect firewood in Akh Haal forest of the district.
However while wood cutting he lost control and fell to ground and died on the spot, he said.
His body was recovered by police and handed over to the family for last rites after completion of legal formalities. Police has started investigation in this regard.
