Kupwara: Police Monday said that it arrested a Hizb militant near the Line of Control (LoC) in North Kashmirs Kupwara district.
A police official told CNS that the youth during questioning confessed that he is affiliated with militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen.
The police official while identifying the arrested militant as Showkat Ahmad Awan, a resident of Pehlipora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district said that an AK rifle, two AK magazines, 67 rounds, one pistol, one pistol magazine, one hand grenade was recovered from his possession. (CNS)
