Srinagar: In continuation to weekly interaction sessions, a workshop on Preventive Vigilance was organized in the conference hall of Vigilance Organization Kashmir Srinagar on Monday.
The keynote address was delivered by Sheikh Owais Ahmed IPS ADGP/Director Vigilance Organization, J&K, in which he emphasized upon taking measures effectively so that not only the impact of Preventive Vigilance is positively obtained in the domain of preventing the tendencies and actual attempts of corrupt indulgences by the public servants in particular and the society in general, but also to obtain the objective of a corruption free institutions.
The other participants in the workshop also included Alok Puri, IGP Vigilance Organization, Sameer Rekhi-AIG Policy Vigilance Organization, Dr. Koshal Kumar Sharma SP, Gulshan Ahmed Kaloo Deputy Director Prosecution, Nissar Hussain Drabu Deputy Director Prosecution, and Sh. Sheikh Muzaffar Ahmed Chief Prosecuting Officer VOK Srinagar, besides the IOs of the organization.
At the conclusion of the said seminar the participants also had a fulfilling and interesting open ended interactive session amongst themselves focusing on making the Vigilance Organization more effective on this aspect. (CNS)
