Srinagar: Awami Ittihaad Party, AIP, has expressed shock over this growing crime rate remaining virtually unchecked.
Shahzad Hamdani, Awami Ittihaad Party AIP Youth President has lamented this ever growing crime rate. According to a statement, “We have reports of few more children getting disappeared from Downtown Srinagar and other parts of the valley. Police has failed to check the ever rising crime rate .We all know about Mehran Latief Mir a three-year-old kid who left home to buy candies from a nearby shop never to return. Six years on, theres no breakthrough except that after state police, the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) seems to have failed to crack the case. Was the kid killed, abducted, or vanished in thin air, the government all have virtually been clueless in all these years.
AIP urged upon the law enforcement agencies to evolve an effective strategy in curbing the ever growing crime rate in the Valley of Kashmir. People in Kashmir are seeking fast track mechanism to curb the growing crime rate in the valley of Kashmir so that society lives in peace, observed Shahzad.
