SRINAGAR: A fierce gunfight broke out between militants and armed forces at Rafiabad in north Kashmir late Saturday, army sources said.
They said that militants intercepted a vehicle of Commanding Officer of 32 RR at Khushipora, Rafiabad and opened heavy fire upon the vehicle.
The fire was retaliated ensuing an encounter which was going on till late Saturday, they said.
