OIC Rep Visits Pak Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Terming the visit of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) special representative for Kashmir to Pakistan and ‘Azad’ Kashmir as an important step, APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed his wish that the world Muslim body should also support the Kashmiris on economic front, besides the necessary political support to their freedom struggle.

He said that the Hurriyat leaders of Azad Kashmir chapter led by convener Yousuf Naseem officially met the OIC special representative along with his delegation and presented a memorandum explaining all the dimensions of Kashmir dispute and increasing human rights violations committed by Indian troops in Kashmir. The Hurriyat leaders also thanked OIC for continuous political and diplomatic support for the Kashmir cause.
