Srinagar: Chairman Peoples Conference Sajad Gani Lone has said that the ruling National Conference is exploiting the people of Kashmir and dis-empowering them on both political and economical fronts for its own political gains.
According to a PC spokesperson, Sajad Lone was addressing a party-convention at Soibug in Budgam district on Friday.
Stressing upon the need to fight for the change, Lone said that the people of the state undoubtedly deserve a change in the present political system to get rid of the administrative injustice and the mis-governance by the traditional political parties of the state. He said that for a delightful future, this is the need of hour to fight against the political system of the current era.
Expressing his dismay over the pathetic condition of Budgam on the developmental front, Lone said it was apparent that the constant governments by the traditional parties have adopted step-motherly attitude towards this beautiful part of the Valley, which otherwise is not any less important than any other part of the region.
He said people of the Budgam have been suppressed politically by and the NC and PDP Governments have deprived them of livelihood and employment opportunities.
Lone impressed on the people to join hands with Peoples conference in its campaign for the Change.
