Srinagar: An elderly person was found dead in a pond in Batamaloo area of Srinagar.
Srinagar police found an unidentified male body age about 70 years in a pond near Ahli Hadees Masjid, Moominabad, Srinagar, in the jurisdiction of police station Batamaloo. Police has started an inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
Meanwhile, 60 years old Shard Paul Basi son of Chamba Basi resident of Barelli, Utter Pradesh working as a laborer in a brick klink was found dead at Ichgam, Budgam. Budgam Police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of his death.
