SRINAGAR: Awami National Conference (ANC) Senior Vice-President Muzzafar Shah in his statements stated that as the time for assembly polls in the state was nearing, the political activities of all the political quarters were booming up and becoming more vibrant with every passing day.
Talking about the third force, Shah maintained that this force wanted to convey a political message that the forthcoming elections in J&K would be like a challenge before the people of the state wherein the masses will have to draw a nuance between their friends and foes by choosing the right political representative for themselves. Shah said that the people should always remember the injustice, misgovernance, corruption, oppression and maltreatment meted out to them by the previous regimes including the present dispensation. Shah further maintained that corruption, nepotism and red-tapism had plagued the entire system and blaming a single leader or party for that would be a futile exercise. So, it was high time when the nation at large needed a change and help bring into power a clean, sincere, pro-people, just and honest regime, to get the issues of the masses redressed and work towards the betterment and development of the masses, said Shah.
