60-year-old attempts suicide

SRINAGAR: A 60-year-old was admitted to hospital in a critical condition when she attempted to commit by consuming poison in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, official sources said here today.

They said a woman consumed some poisonous substance in her home at Boniyar in Baramulla.

However, other families immediately rushed her to local hospital from where she was referred to SMHS hospital here.

It was not immediately known why she tried to took this extreme step, they said adding a case has been registered in police station Boniyar.
