SRINAGAR: Ridiculing the recent statement of External Affairs Minister Salman Khursheed, Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani Monday said that the rhetoric with regards to Kashmir being an integral part can in no way change the obvious realties.
His (Salman Khurshids) remarks about Kashmir issues are unrealistic and their stance cannot justify Delhi’s forced military occupation of Kashmir, said Geelani while appealing for the for complete shutdown on 27th October.
In a statement issued today Geelani urged people to observe complete shutdown on 27th October. This day is an inauspicious day in the history of Kashmir when forcibly we were made slaves.
Till 1947 Jammu and Kashmir was a free and sovereign state and as per the principles laid for the partition between India and Pakistan, it is clear that Kashmir is not in any way a part of India however India with its dint of might India landed troops in Kashmir and turned it into their colony, Geelani said.
