SRINAGAR: Disgruntled former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader in the Upper House Murtaza Khan Tuesday said that decision making in PDP was confined to father and daughter only and no political leader has any say in the decision making process.
Time has come for the disintegration of this party as the father and daughter in the party have hijacked its agenda and are acting as autocrats and dictators, Khan told CNS adding that he was feeling suffocation in the party. Khan along with several other PDP and NC leaders recently joined Congress.
Murtaza Khan said that he joined Congress party after the people whom he represents asked him to do so. I represent the aspirations of the people in the region and they were not satisfied with the PDP as they felt that party was not taking him seriously, he said.
Without naming Mufi Muhammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti, Murtaza Khan came down heavily on them and said that father and daughter is not providing any space to other party leaders and others have no say in decision making processes.
You would yourself see how leaders will leave this party in coming days and the party would disintegrate like pack of cards.CNS
