Srinagar: Expressing serious concern over the alleged   molestation of a lady of Zalingam, Kokernag Chairman Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah said that troops should feel ashamed that their dual nature is getting exposed after each passing day.

“Now whole world and Kashmiri nation is aware that if any sexual assault takes place in India, the culprit is awarded life sentence but when same incident takes place here in Kashmir by the hands of forces, the government in order to cover up the issue only orders inquiry commissions to cool down the angry masses. “ Said Shah in statement issued to KNS here.

Giving reference of Kunan Poshpora and Shopian incidents, Shah said the involved persons were neither identified nor were they punished for their crime. “Till Indian forcible occupation continues in Kashmir, the honour and dignity of our mothers and sisters is at stake” Shah said while appealing the pro-freedom leadership to unite for the just cause.
