SRINAGAR: The family of slain Shopian youth, Tauseef Ahmed Bhat Tuesday said that they have no expectations of justice from the government.
The track record of the security agencies and the present government shows how after every killing culprits were allowed to continue enjoy freedom, father of Tauseef told CNS.
He said that they expect nothing from the government. We demand the removal of the CRPF camp located at Gagrin. Personnel from this camp killed a youth, Firdous Ahmed in 2004, and no one was booked for that murder, he said.
This CRPF camp is proving lethal for our youth and it should be removed without any delay, he said.
He lamented that no one was allowed to visit his home on the day of fateha (Chaharum) of Tawseef.
We had requested authorities to allow those who wanted to visit our home to offer condolences but instead police lobbed tear smoke shells in our yard, he said. (CNS)
