Srinagar: Due to the continuing heavy down pour since yesterday, the forward movement of Shri Amarnathji Yatris towards the Holy Cave has been suspended today from both the Baltal and Nunwan Base Camps.
According to Navin K. Choudhary, Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, the Yatra has been suspended in the interest of safety and security of the Yatris. He said that, if the weather improves, the Yatra would be released from both these Base Camps tomorrow.
