Srinagar): On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Ali Mohammad Sagar accompanied by the Minister for CA&PD and Transport, Chowdhery Mohammad Ramzan today attended the Chaharum and fateh khawani of the persons who were killed recently in the Gool area.
While interacting with the people and members of bereaved families, the Ministers assured them that irrespective of the status, action would be taken against those responsible for the killings maintaining First Information Report (FIR) has already been lodged in the police station and the guilty would be brought to book.
The Ministers applauded the people to maintain calm and peace. It is tragic that some vested interests are politicizing this tragic incident in which precious human lives have been lost, they added.
Gul visits Noorbagh firing injured: Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly, Mubarak Gul today visited SKIMS and enquired about the health of one Jan Mohammad Khanday s/o Muhammad Sultan Khanday of Noorbagh, Srinagar who was injured in yesterdays firing incident.
The Speaker wished him a speedy recovery and asked doctors to take appropriate care of him.
