SRINAGAR: The Court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class sentenced two of the three accused persons to six months jail for outraging modesty of a women in their native village at Bimyar , Boniyar Uri.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1500 on the accused which would be paid to the victim as compensation.
The court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class Boniyar Aadil Mushtaq Banday convicted the accused under other sections of RPC also which included 323 and 341 of RPC. All the punishments awarded to the accused were directed to be run concurrently and the convicts were ordered to be lodged in District Jail Baramulla. (CNS)
