JAMMU Ghulam Nabi Khayal, a noted writer and journalist, presented to Governor N. N. Vohra a copy of his latest book in Urdu titled Khayal Qalam, at Raj Bhavan, here today.
Briefing the Governor about this volume, Khayal said that Khayal Qalam contains research articles on Kashmirs culture, literature, history and folklore. During the past more than five decades, Khayal has authored 28 books in Kashmiri, Urdu and English languages on varied themes.
Observing that Khayal is among the very few, perhaps the only known author who has written in three languages, he wished him good health and continuing success in his literary pursuits.
Earlier another Kashmiri writer Ghulam Nabi Gauhar had presented a copy of his latest book titled Torch Bearer in Dark Circle, to Governor Vohra at Raj Bhavan last week.
