SRINAGAR: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has paid glowing tributes to the Hazrat Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) on his annual Urs.
He termed Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) as a great spiritual and religious leader who has always been revered and respected by the people of Kashmir and the Muslims Ummah. Mirwaiz said the teachings of saint have brought a spiritual revolution in Kashmiri.
Mirwaiz said Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) has ruled the hearts of Kashmiris for hundreds of years. He said his message of love, brotherhood and humanity still finds resonance with the people. He said his teachings would hold true and would remain valid till the end of this world.
