SRINAGAR: Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar today directed the district administration of Srinagar to make all out efforts to provide basic facilities to the people in connection with Urs Hazreth Sheikh Hamzah Sultan-ul-Arifeen, Makhdoom Sahib (RA), being celebrated on December 26, 2012 with great fervor and gaiety.
The Minister was interacting with a team of officers during his visit to the Shrine today. Directing RTO Kashmir for providing transport facilities for the devotees till late in the evening, the Minister said that ferrying of people to and fro the shrine should be ensured so that maximum number of people would be able to pay their obeisance at the shrine of the great saint.
Sagar also directed the officers of the PDD and PHE to work in coordination and synergy to ensure better power and water supplies.
