SRINAGAR: Sheikh-ul-Alam Studies Centre, University of Kashmir in collaboration with Sahitya Academy, New Delhi organized a symposium titled Kashur Lekhnas Manz Yaksaniyatek Masle here today.
Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir, Prof. Talat Ahmad was the chief guest on the occasion while as Prof. Rehman Rahi presided over the function.
The function was among others attended by Chairman, Sheikh-ul-Alam Studies Centre, Bashar Bashir, Margoob Banhali, Rafiq Raaz, Prof. Nehvi, Dr. Shujaat Bukhari, Prof. Nazir Ahmad Malik, Shad Ramzan, Majrooh Rashid and Rattan Lal Talashi.
Addressing the inaugural session of the symposium, the Vice Chancellor stressed for united efforts in propagating Kashmiri Language and bringing popularity of the language among new generations.
