SRINAGAR – Srinagar and three other places in the Kashmir valley and border town of Kargil in Ladakh recorded lowest minimum temperature.
A Met department spokesman said this afternoon that Western Disturbances are approaching the Kashmir valley which could cause light rain or snow at isolated places over the hills during the next 24 hours. He said during the subsequent two days there could be scattered rain or snow in the region. Srinagar, recorded minus 1.7 degrees, lowest minimum temperature of winter so far. The minimum dropped because of clear sky during the night while it was cloudy in the day today.
