SHOPIAN – A blood donation camp was organized by Government Polytechnic College, Shopian in collaboration with Government District Hospital, Shopian.
District Development Commissioner, Shopian, Mr. Mohammad Javeed Khan and Principal, Government Polytechnic College, Shopian, Mtr. Shahzada Aziz also donated blood.
As many as 15 students of the College besides faculty members donated blood on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Khan said that blood donation camps shall be organized throughout the district to make sufficient quality of preserved blood available for patients in the hour of need to save the precious lives. He appreciated the organization of blood donation camp and hoped that such activities shall be held regularly involving more people.
