Srinagar – A group of 94 students from the Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School, Srinagar Today visited Raj Bhavan to meet Jammu and Kashmir governor N N Vohra and first lady Usha Vohra.
The students were accompanied by Sister Jyoti, Principal of the School, and five of their Teachers during their visit to the Raj Bhavan. A similar visit of nearly 100 girls had taken place last year also.
The children were delighted at this memorable opportunity of being hosted by the Governor and the First Lady and to be able to go around the Raj Bhavan lawns. The children were shown around the lawns and the gardens by the Raj Bhavan staff.
The Governor and the First Lady interacted with the children, enquired from them about their studies and hobbies and wished them a bright future ahead. They hosted lunch for them.
