Srinagar – A lady (name with held) resident of Chandhara, Awantipora, in the jurisdiction of police station Pampore consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to SMHS, Srinagar where she expired. Pampore police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
Vehicle with fake registration recovered in Kulgam
Srinagar, Oct 10: During the investigation of a road, traffic accident case that was registered in police station D.H Pora, Kulgam. Police recovered the vehicle involved in the case. However, the registration of the vehicle was found to be fake. Kulgam police registered another case against the person from whom the vehicle was seized.
Investigation of case FIR number 96/2012 under section 279, 337 RPC in Police Station D.H.Pora Kulgam, the car Wagnor bearing registration number Jk02D/ 4758 involved in the case was recovered from Bashir Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Qadir Mir resident of Ahmadabad, D.H.Pora. Further investigation revealed that the registration of the vehicle as that was confirmed by ARTO Kulgam. The registration number of the recovered vehicle pertains to a Scooter having Chassis number 68168 and engine number 05207.
Accordingly a fresh case FIR number 103/2012 under section number 379, 411 RPC has been registered in Police Station D.H.Pora against Bashir Ahmad Mir. Investigation is still going on.
