Srinagar – One person succumbed and four others including two boys were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
In continuation to an accident at Tagore Hall, Srinagar on 04.10.2012, the injured Auto driver Mohammad Shafi Wani son of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Chattergam, Budgam succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS here.
In another accident, a Scooter Vespa bearing registration number JK01B/8658 driven by Sahil Ahmad Munshi son of Mohammad Altaf resident of Kawdara, Fateh kadal skidded off the road near SKICC, Srinagar in the jurisdiction of police station Nishat, resulting in injuries to Scooterist. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another accident, a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK01B/1901 driven by Sajad Ahmad Halwaaie, age 23 years, son of Asrar Ahmad resident of Bijnour, U.P was hit by a bus bearing registration number JKE/9709, resulting in injuries to the driver of the Maruti. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another accident, a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK03A/281 hit and injured two boys Owais Ahmad Bhat, age 7 years, son of Farooq Ahmad Bhat and Aqib Ahmad Wani, age 7 years, son of Bashir Ahmad residents of Eightkhuroo at Eightkhuroo, Rabitaar, Ganderbal, in the jurisdiction of police station Ganderbal. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered.
