Srinagar – One person died in a road accident that occurred in South Kashmirs Kulgam district last evening.
A motorcycle (JK018-2498) rammed into an electric pole near SP Office Kulgam, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Sartaj Ahmad Reshi, son of Nazir Ahmad, resident of Arigathnoo, Kulgam.
The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile a Santro car fell into a gorge at Simthan Top in Anantnag district, injuring six persons traveling in it. The injured were shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment.
