Grenade Recovered in Bandipora

Srinagar – Police claimed to have recovered a live grenade in a rusted condition near a garbage dump in Bandipora district of North Kashmir on Friday.

A rusted grenade was found near a garbage dump by police party during patrolling at Bhat Mohalla locality of Ajar village in Bandipora, 55 kms from here, a police spokesman said.

He said the device was removed by the experts and later defused.
