Kulgam – In the final of Inter- AGS T-20 tournament, AGS Behibag defeated AGS Wuzur by 52 runs at Sports Stadium, Kulgam.
Earlier AGS Wuzur won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 175 runs for 8 wickets in their innings. AGS Wuzur was restricted to score 123 runs only.
Rayees Ahmad, the captain of AGS Behibag, was declared the Man of the Match and also the Man of the Series for his sterling performance throughout the tournament. The chief guest on the occasion, Commander, 2 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, felicitated both the teams for their outstanding performances and exhorted them to keep up the spirit of cricket going.
He gave away trophies and prizes to both the teams and also assured to have more such tournaments organised in future, to meet the aspirations of the youth of Kashmir. The event was attended by representatives of civil administration and a host of police officials.
