SRINAGAR: Heavy snow which began falling late last night continued non stop whole of Tuesday throwing normal life out of gear.
The strategic Srinagar-Jammu highway was closed for traffic due to heavy snowfall in Bannihal and Patnitop sectors of the over 300-kilometre long road.
Flights to and from Srinagar were also suspended because of heavy snowfall and poor visibility. The train service inside Kashmir valley was also affected.
