SRINAGAR: A delegation of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry headed by the President, Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad met Madhav Lal, Secretary Ministry of Micro, Small, & Medium Enterprises, Government of India in Srinagar over the weekend.
The KCC&I had detailed discussion on several issues. The non-implementation of the recommendations of the Prime Ministers Task Force dated January 2010 was raised regarding creation of fund for revival of sick units was taken up.
The KCC&I recommended several measures in this regard. For organizing the micro, small and medium scale industrial sector of Kashmir the KCC&I offered facilitation for creation of area wise clusters.
The issue of objections regarding the Ompura Industrial Estate was also brought to the notice of the Mr Madhav Lal.
