SRINAGAR: Kashmir Valleys Friday witnessed coldest night of the season with Kargil shivering at minus 15 degrees Celsius.
The reports received said that Leh area of Ladakh region recorded minus 14.8 degrees Celsius on Friday.
The details provided by state Met office stated that the night temperature of Srinagar was 0.6 degree Celsius and further decrease was expected in the coming days.
The temperature at Gulmarag was recorded at a low of minus 8.6 degrees Celsius while as Pahalgam recorded 9.6 degrees Celsius.
According to the official reports, Qazigund recorded 0.2 degrees Celsius, while as Kupwara recorded minus 3 degrees Celsius.
The state meteorological department further informed that there would not be any change in it for the next few days.
