KISHTWAR: Describing Justice R.C. Gandhi Commission as a Government Commission, Peoples Democratic Party MLC from Kishtwar Saturday said that they dont have faith in any Commission constituted by the Government to probe any matter.
PDP dont have any faith in such Commissions whether it is Gandhi Commission or Bedi Commission, Syed Asghar said adding that Government has made a mockery of justice by inducting Sajad Kitchloo in Cabinet without waiting for the final report.
He said that Justice R.C. Gandhi has not submitted its final report yet. It is an interim report while the final report about the Kishtwar communal riots will be submitted after a month. Government should have waited for the final report but by not doing so Government gave proof that this Commission was constituted to hoodwink the people, Syed Ashgar said.
Meanwhile, scores of workers of Bhartiya Janata Party staged a protest outside the Justice Gandhis residence at Patauli Jammu alleging that Justice Gandhi had nexus with National Conference Government.
The protestors carrying banners and placards accused that Kitchloo was re-inducted as a Minister for political reasons. This Commission was constituted by Omar Abdullah for his own interests and now it has been proved that Gandhi worked in league with the Government, the protestors said.
