This 40-year-old Kashmiri ambulance driver has been ferrying Covid-19 victims from hospitals to burial grounds since Kashmir witnessed its first Covid dead early this year.
So far, Jameel Ahmad has driven around 85 corona victims to different cemeteries in Srinagar.
As of August 6, Jammu and Kashmir had witnessed 443 Covid casualties with over 23,000 total number of cases.
The rising Covid graph is only making Jameel’s job a pressing urgency in Kashmir today.
