Srinagar: A missing couple was found dead Tuesday in Aru Pahalgam reportedly due to the road accident. The couple had gone for outing after they recently got engaged.
Reports said that a recently engaged couple Sabhiya Jan daughter of Ali Mohammad Mir of Kadipora Anantnag and Irshad Ahmed Darzi son of Kaka Darzee resident of Nathi Pora Dooru Anantng went for outing on Sunday.
When they didnt return home till late hours, their parents reported the matter to Police. After the investigations and search operations, the Police found bodies of the missing couple in a gorge on Aru road.
A senior Police official said that both have died due to accident and their car had rolled down nearly 700 feet down in river Lidder near Gurkhum-Aru in Pahalgam.
