SRINAGAR: Police said that last evening fire broke out in JK Cement Factory, Khanmoh resulting in the damage to few machines like Motors, Diesel Oil Tank, Hot Air Generator and Coal Mill.
A statement issued by the police further said that the fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders and nobody was hurt in the incident.
Meanwhile, an unknown vehicle hit and injured Umer Hussain son of Ghulam Ahmad Malik resident of Benihama at Benihama, in Lar, Ganderbal. The injured succumbed to his injuries on way to SKIMS Soura. Ganderbal Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident a 17 years old girl (name withheld) resident of Batpora, Hangal Buch, Kulgam who was undergoing treatment in SKIMS Soura expired last evening.
The girl in a bid to take her life had consumed some poisonous substance at her home on November 30.
