Reasi District Magistrate Reasi, Nirmal Sharma today ordered prohibition on sale, possession and consumption of alcohol and meat in the areas in and around Katra especially on the entire Yatra track up to Holy Cave of Mata Vaishno Devi and villages falling on both sides of the holy track having aerial distance up to 2 kms.
Besides, the areas included Katra Town, Village ARli, Hansali, Mutail up to Rly. Station, Village Parthal, Danna, Tikri Road including villages Chamba, Serli, Bhagata, Jammu road including villages Kundorian, Kotli Bajalana, Nomian up to Magaal and Reasi road including villages Parthal, Serward to Aghar Jitto, Garn to Pangal (Nau Deviana) will also come under the order.
