The year we welcomed with lot of cheer and contentment is now haunting humanity.
By Khalid Mustafa
WE keep on hearing claims about vaccine trials from various pharmacy companies and research laboratories.
But despite efforts apparently being made on a war-footing to counter and contain the ‘invisible enemy’, we haven’t reached to any conclusion yet.
And the upshot of this lingering solution remains ugly.
With hanging facemasks and haunting news, we keep on suffering by our ears.
We remain eager for any good news, to come out of the present dilemma. The lockdown versions have already affected our mental health and economy in many ways.
With rising cases, death ratio is soaring, setting most of us thinking: Are we heading towards ease or disaster? Are we equally responsible for the results which are being broadcasted now?
Except our will power, nothing else should be positive in us. We should come up with the solutions for betterment of our mental health and future.
We shouldn’t be bound to the social media facts, but to the reality. Truth remains that this virus is more vicious than its virtual image.
It’s not only devouring our life to end, but our daily emotions, friendship, family, jobs, and more.
The care has become curse; even we can’t express our joy to family, as we’re hanging the board of social distance.
This year is unique and has different principles. It clearly demands that we should divide and fall apart from each other for some time. Let’s suffer a bit by means of social distancing to keep the virus at bay.
Sensibility lies in the fact that we should learn the protocols of this year. But what’s equally true is that it’ll take us some time to heal what we lost in 2020.
We should respect the frontline warriors to keep us updated about the future strategies and precautions. We’re presently living negative and try to be far from being positive.
Let’s understand it for good that none is perfect. We should cooperate with authorities, and try starting educational awareness among people about the pandemic.
We’ve to live with this virus for some time now, and have to learn its rules.
Life is a blessing and we should not lose it by going about our careless routine as of now. Our life should give a meaning to future – our struggle, our discipline, our goal.
We hear lot from this year, and this is the reason it’s Y-Ear. And therefore, we should act on time to avoid future disaster.
