SRINAGAR: Scores of Un-regularized Contingent Paid Workers (CPWs) in Education Department Monday alleged that Chief Education Officers of four districts are not submitting the list pertaining to them despite several reminders from Director Education Kashmir.
Reports said that Un-regularized CPWs in Education Department staged a protest in Pratap Park, Srinagar saying that Government had assured them that once particulars about them would reach to the Directorate Education Office, they would be regularized after proper verification of the data.
The protestors said that Director Education Kashmir vide letter number DSEK/NT/CPW/39-44/2013/ All had directed all the Chief Education Officers to furnish details about Un-regularized Contingent Paid Workers but till date CEOs of Baramulla, Budgam, Pulwama and Shopian have not sent any data and they are using delay tactics for the reasons better known to them.
If these Officer do not send the information about us to the Directorate Education then we along with our families would come on roads, Muhammad Yousuf told CNS adding these officers are doing injustice towards them.
When contacted Director Education, Mir Tariq told CNS that he would shot another reminder to these officers and would make it sure that information about CPWs reach to the Directorate in time. (CNS)
