SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman has announced that he would leave for Shopian on Sunday with relief for the people of the town who have been under curfew for several days now.
Continues curfew and restrictions have turned into a human catastrophe and people are facing the scarcity and shortage of life saving drugs and other important needs of life. To fulfill our moral, human and religious duty of supporting the suppressed humans of Shopian, JKLF delegation led by Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik will reach Shopian on Sunday 22nd 2013 , with relief goods including life saving drugs ,food grains and goods etc. the spokesperson of JKLF said on Saturday in a statement.
Spokesman said that after the massacre in shopian, rulers imposed a curfew in the whole area which has been going on for last 15 days now. This continues curfew and restrictions has turned the whole area into a concentration camp and people living there are facing an alarming shortage and scarcity of life saving drugs, food grains and other important things necessary for saving lives.
Even the food grains and milk etc needed for the infants is short and general public because being caged into their houses are in dire need of food items etc. the situation is much grimmer for poor, and outsiders who are left with nothing to eat. This alarming and grim situation and human catastrophe needs our immediate attention and it is our moral, human and religious duty to reach out to our brothers and sisters in need and help these brave brethren of ours.
Under this passion chairman JKLF has started gathering relief goods from friends and wealthy brethren for the affected people of Shupian. Yasin sahib spent todays whole day for this cause and it is heartening that people are providing relief for their affected brethren. Spokesperson said that InshaAllah, Yasin sahib leading a delegation will reach Shupian tomorrow on 22nd September 2013 and distribute this relief among the needy brethren of Shupian.
