Srinagar – State cabinet is all set to meet here on Wednesday morning, official sources said.
The meeting is scheduled to take a detailed review of arrangements for the upcoming local bodies elections apart from discussing specifics with regard to conducting of polls, the sources added.
Delimitation of wards, issuance of voter lists, status of Voter ID cards and other necessary aspects related to the elections will also come up for discussion, they said.
The present situation in the valley in the backdrop of the blasphemous video release and the resultant protests and violence may also be discussed.
Some transfers in the middle and lower rung bureaucracy are also expected to be approved, the sources added. (KNS)
