Srinagar: State Youth Congress today suspended a number of functionaries, including state, Lok Sabha and Assembly office bearers with immediate effect.
According to a statement the suspended office bearers never attended any review meeting or any other activity of the organization. Also they have been found reluctant to respond to the notices by the organization and were found indulged in anti party activities
Those suspended included Jan Sakinder, State Secretary, Yasir Pandit, State Secretary, Pankaj Mohan, General Secretary Lok Sabha Jammu Poonch, Shamsher Singh, President, Rahul Singh, President, Deepak Gupta, President AYC Jammu, Mithun Bharti Vice President AYC Reasi), Pankaj Sharma, President AYC Kathua, Anil Salaria, President AYC Basohli and Kewel Sharma, President AYC Billawar.
The decision was taken in a meeting which was held under the chairmanship of Chetan Chauhan Secretary All India Youth Congress and incharge J&K affairs and Shahnawaz Choudhary State president Youth Congress.
