SRINAGAR: President Doctors Association Kashmir(DAK) Dr Nisar ul Hassan today said it was shocking to know that government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar authorities were justifying sending of female medicos to what he described as highly immoral cultural show (Pulse) at Delhi.
The claim by the GMC authorities that the pulse is an academic activity is a blatant lie which is a cover up and camouflage of their wrong doings. Pulse show is all about indecent and immoral cultural events as has been displayed on their website www.pulse.org, Hassan said in a statement.
The events for 2013 which have been uploaded on the site are Viva La Vida, which is about Western music and Western dance competition; Epostasy, which is an all night party of boys and girls; Glam, which is an exotic and vulgar female beauty competition, the statement further reads.
These activities are part of a design to project Kashmir as a normal place thus sabotaging the sacrosanct freedom struggle which is unacceptable and intolerable, it said.
DAK has sought an apology from the GMC authorities failing which it has threatened public wrath for them.
