Srinagar: Authorities on Tuesday placed a senior officer under suspension for not turning up to supervise the written test conducted by SSRB.
Deputy Commissioner Anantang Farooq Ahmad Lone said that Bashir Ahmad Nanda, Executive officer did not report for collecting the material for the centre no. 21 he was appointed coordinator for which he was placed under suspension.
The officer was supposed to collect the material which he failed to do. Therefore he has been placed under suspension. Lone said. Earlier SSRB chairperson Shugufta Parveen had conveyed to deputy commissioner about the absence of the officer.
